Advanced Cutt'n Up
ADVANCED is a follow-up camp to the original Cutt’n Up. Take it to the next level with an external and internal anatomical investigation of more frogs, sharks, and fetal pigs. Cutt’n Up (Dissection) is highly recommended as an introduction to this advanced camp.

Feeling creative? Get your art on as we have fun with clay, paper mache and silkscreen t-shirt printing. Youth express their interests and styles through a fun filled week of hands-on art. Popular activities include how to screen print your own t-shirt and whimsical clay creations. Why not “create” your own fun?
Each participant will need to bring a plain t-shirt (white or colored).
Challenge
Do you enjoy a challenge? Science can be fun and challenging. Join in the fun, experiment, try it yourself, and make your own labs. Two days full of students’ favorite science experiments involving bubbles, things that fly, and food.

· How far can you get a paper airplane to fly?

Cutt'n Up -
Grab your scalpel and explore the anatomy of eyeballs, hearts, fish, frogs and more. A hands-on week of dissection. Students will be guided through the external and internal structures of various organisms. Don’t miss this completely unique and limited opportunity to dissect.
Flight
Are you fascinated with things that fly? Experiment with water rockets, paper airplanes, and other flying objects as you discover the principles of flight. Students will design and construct their own rockets and other flyers to compete against peers in high-flying fun. Learn how to apply Newton’s Laws and Bernoulli’s Principle to some fun flying objects.

Do you enjoy a challenge? Science can be fun and challenging. Join in the fun, experiment, try it yourself, and make your own labs. Four days full of students’ favorite science experiments involving food, flying, floating and fun.

Students will compete in these competitions and other problem-solving activities based upon scientific inquiry.
LEt's GO build it
Build new Legos® creations each day based on fun themes and compete against other builders. Themes may include: buildings, bridges, bugs, animals, vehicles, tools, and many others.

· Can you recreate a scene from a book?
· Can you build the right tool for a specific task?
Photography
How to take the perfect picture. Ever wonder what’s that button do? Get to know your digital camera. Learn the art of composition, photo editing, archiving and display. This workshop takes an indepth look at the process of photography from camera to printed photos. Each participant will explore photography indoors and out to create personal and unique photos. Learn how to select and matte photos for professional displays. A week full of fun for you and your camera.
Stop-Motion Animation
Have you ever wanted to see your stories come to life? Learn how to create a story using stop-motion animation. Use Play-doh, action figures, LEGOs, and Matchbox cars to create a story. Take digital pictures, group them together using iMovie and produce your own animated short film. The stories and subjects are limited only by your imagination!
Wet 'n' Wild
Get in touch with the great outdoors through wet n’ wild activities. We will investigate forests, marshes, wetlands and the plants and animals that call them home. Learn more about the environment, how it affects you and how you affect it through discovery, inquiry and simulations. Get your hands dirty, your feet wet and hug a tree (literally) this summer!
Write On!
Do you enjoy journaling, story telling, and creative writing? Sharpen your skills by:
- Creating a dramatic scene
- Crafting a writers’ voice
- Writing for an audience and purpose
- Developing characters, themes and creative endings
- Building a writing portfolio
We will create a wide range of writing—poetry, narratives, short stories, persuasive and journalistic pieces, letters, and essays. Students will analyze their work with peers, which will provide a platform for students to share their writing in a creative and inspiring environment. At the end of the session, students will bind their writing into a creative and lasting portfolio to treasure.
Yumology
Play with your food and eat it too! Explore kitchen chemistry and edible experiments. Join in the fun, experiment, try it yourself, and make your own labs. This camp is full of the students' favorite experiments involving food.
